Museum Services
The Calhoun County Museum has numerous services that are oriented to serving the people of Calhoun County in several fashions. The Museum holds special and cultural events throughout the year, tours of the collection, for both individuals and groups, history and eduacational programs, geneaology and historical research by appointment, as well as houses a media room that showcases videos of Calhoun County, past and present, as well as other educational media. Museum Tours
The museum offers tours of its collections Tuesday-Friday from 9am-4pm. For groups of 6 or more, please call ahead at (803) 874-3964 to prearrange a time.

Geneaological & Historical Research
We are happy to assist with geneaological and historical research. Research hours are Tuesday-Friday 9am-4pm and Mondays by appointment only.
This site is funded by the SC Arts Commission, which recieves funding from the NEA, as well as, the Calhoun County Council, and the Friends of the Calhoun County Museum.

County Council Meetings are held every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. Meetings are open to the public.
The Calhoun County Public Library hosts a children's story hour called "Mother Goose on the Loose" every Tuesday at 11:00 am and Wednesday at 10:30 am. This is for children aged birth to 3 years and is free to the public.
